Emmai Alaquiva, an Emmy Award-winning producer, entrepreneur, and mentor is known for his strong presence in the music and radio industries. Once homeless, growing up in local shelters across the city, Emmai now holds several prominent positions throughout the community. Having served as the Director of Production for WAMO 106.7 FM, he is also the owner of Ya Momz House, LLC a full-service multimedia company, as well as the foun...der and Executive Director of Hip Hop On L.O.C.K., a Pittsburgh based arts education program for youth in grades K-12, Cinematographer for The Dignity & Respect Campaign, Savoy Restaurant, The Ryan Mundy Collective, DMGpgh and August WIlson Center. Emmai is also a teacher for the Propel Schools System. Recognized for all he has achieved as Pittsburgh Magazine's "40 Under 40" and was recently named a 2011 Urban Empowerment Award winner and one of Pittsburgh Courier's "FAB 40".
