Psalm 107:31-35 Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! He turns a wilderness into pools of water, And dry land into water springs.
THANKS FOR EARTHLY BLESSINGS
We thank the Lord for food and drink and all the things that go with it. For the technology which makes it possible for so few to produce enough for so many. For governments which provide the peace and security needed for harvest, trade, and commerce. For the weather, sun and rain which cause the grain to grow and keep streams filled with running water. For the wild animals which provide food for our tables. For the warm houses, freezers and refrigerators where food can be stored to be prepared and eaten. For all those who do such a wonderful job cooking and preparing this bounty the Lord has provided. For family and friends without who share in the blessings with us. For all these things we thank the Lord. Surely the Lord is good to the children of men.
