VALE KURT KILIAN
Kurt passed away Friday, May 13 after a period of debilitating illness.
Many residents on Scotland Island and the Western Foreshores knew
“Kurt, the plumber” who travelled to the offshore communities from the
mainland on a regular basis to work on their properties. He
was a kind and gentle man whose face will be missed within our
community.
His funeral
will be held at Sacred Heart, Mona Vale, Wednesday at 1.30pm.
A bus has
been organised from Church Point at 12.30pm for those wishing to attend
the service.
His family requests no flowers, but instead a donation to the

Service Notice
Karmel Patterson, our regular, weekend volunteer driver was the
unfortunate victim of motor vehicle accident and has suffered multiple
fractures. She is recovering in St George Hospital in Kogarah and at
this stage it is unknown when she will be discharged. She was
rear-ended while stationary just outside of Sussex Inlet.
We will do our best to keep the vehicle in service on weekends but
advise that you should ring well before you will need it, to ensure
that it is in service. Telephone 0404 103 700.
Unfortunately,
it will be out of service from 3:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesdays until
further notice.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer driver, contact Gordon
Floyd on 9999 2035 or Cass Gye on 9979 5853
