All Topo Maps Mail List
In this issue: Updated Maps Available Now The following new BLM 100K map releases are available from the update website now:
You can click on the filenames in the right-hand column to see thumbnails of these maps. Checkout [ Downloading New Maps from the All Topo Maps Server ] for detailed instructions on how to download maps. Remember that there is now a choice to automatically update every applicable map from within All Topo Maps. From the main All Topo Viewer window select "Updates: Choose Map Revision: Updates: Update All Map Sets via Web." Before you do this, make sure you save any annotations and projects as the viewer will have to restart after the update.
Updated Map DVD Available Now If you have trouble downloading updated maps via the internet, we now have a DVD that contains only the updated maps produced since the last full release of each state. This DVD (Part Number ATMUMI00 - Build 8177) includes all of the updated maps scanned after the latest released version (DVD/Historic Sets). The following links list the maps included on this update DVD:
If you don't have the latest full release of a product, then all of the updated maps may not be included on the update disk. You can order this disk from our online store with this link -> [ Purchase ATMUMI00 - Build 8177 ]
Latest All Topo Map Viewer Build Several enhancements have been made to the All Topo Viewer. I will include a short list below, but one common question comes from existing customers upgrading their computers to Windows 7 or Windows 8. Q: "Will All Topo Maps run under Windows 7 or Windows 8?" A: "Yes" All Topo Maps will work great on these operating systems. However, you may benefit from purchasing a new 'Install Disk 0'. The latest installer allows for three types of installations:
The enhanced installer can't convert an existing installation type to another install type. But if you are doing a clean install, you may benefit from a portable installation. (I personally would never use the Windows method unless I was absolutely forced to by a system administrator. It makes it nearly impossible to find stuff and troubleshoot data problems.) You can update your viewer to the latest version with this link: [ B8175 ] |

Here is a short list of the latest,
important updates:
X90-OPUS GPS Receiver If you have need for collecting GPS data for OPUS-Static, OPUS-RS or Static GPS Campaigns we may have just the receiver for you. Checkout our (iGage exclusive) [ X90-OPUS Receiver ]. It has a breakthrough price, fantastic performance and we (iGage) wrote the Download tool as an extension of the All Topo viewer. One of the neatest features is the download tool decimates the observation data, zips up the observation file and automatically fills in the NGS OPUS submission form for you with a single button click. As the passive control network falls apart, active CORS based control is going to become very important. I think that the X90-OPUS receiver will fill this need, at the most reasonable price around. The All Topo Map Mail List If this mail piece has come to you in error,
you can click on the 'Leave mailing list' link below. It really will
remove you from future mailings. Thank you for purchasing All Topo Maps! Mark Silver |
