Hello Firstname
Wednesday 24 April
Jon & Sue Baker will be presenting their print talk entitled "Four Feet From The Top". I confess to not knowing any more about Jon & Sue other than Jon is MFIAP EFIAP/p and Sue is AFIAP, BPE3* and that they come from Shropshire
PAGB Inter-Club Projected Image Championship
Following our victory at the WCPF DPIC competition at Exeter earlier this year, BPS are representing the region at the PAGB Inter-Club Competition in July. The competition takes place on Saturday 13 July at Warwick University, just outside Coventry and tickets for the day are available by using the application form attached to this newsletter and sending it off, together with your money to Carol Cheetham. Tickets are only £5 each and it is always a great day out: you get to put faces to all those photographers' names that you hear about during the year. You also get to join in the excitement as images from all 15 Federations are judged throughout the day, culminating in the awarding of the prestigious prize to the UK's top photographic Club. It would be really great if a healthy contingent of BPS members went along.
BPS Annual Pilgrimage To Woodford Point To Point
Each year at about this time the Berkeley Hunt hold a Point to Point meeting at Woodford, north of Bristol on the A38; this year it is on Saturday 27 April. We usually manage to get several car loads of members going and over the years quite a collection of successful pictures have resulted. If you are interested in going, either let me know next Wednesday and I will see if I can match passengers to cars, otherwise see us there. For more details visit this site http://www.pointtopoint.co.uk/go/courses/woodford.html or follow this link to see pictures of last year's event.

BPS Library
Members will be aware that we have a library of photographic books which are available for anyone too borrow, but what many might not be aware of is how extensive the range of books is. The Librarian, Mike Bigger, has sent me a comprehensive list of the books we have so that you can see, from the comfort of your own armchair, which ones you might like to borrow.

WCPF Members Print Exhibition 2013
This year's WCPF Members' Exhibition is being held at Buckfast Abbey from 11 to 26 May. Full details are to be found on the WCPF website or by following this link. The exhibition is of both prints and projected images and there are many in both categories from BPS members. This is a great oportunity to visit a lovely neck of the woods for an enjoyable day out to take in some wonderful photography and some of the local scenery.

BPS Website
Barry Mead, who looks after the BPS Website, is looking for new images to put in the Members' Gallery. Ideally you will need about a dozen images, if you think you can provide some, please email Barry at barrymead@blueyonder.co.uk and he will send you full instructions on what you need to do.

Items For Sale
If you have something photographic that you want to sell, why not let me have details and I can circulate them to a captive audience of photographers through the Newsletter - send to the usual address.

Trumpet Blowers' Corner
If you want to blow your own trumpet or, dare I say such a thing, blow someone else's trumpet for them, then this is the place to do it. Please let me know and I'll include it in the next issue.
