Svart katt about the song:
"The new single is about the feeling of a home when those who lived there are no longer there. Everything looks the same but is hollow and wrong. All the things that are now so full of memories will soon be just things again. Until No One Remembers."

Damn, maybe it's worth keeping punk alive for a little while longer?

At least as long as Svart katt spits out songs with Jay Reatard downstrokes and lyrics about hanging around, skating, listening to the radio and setting the feeling of vibrating asphalt to music. Like a kind of melancholy punky Call Me by Your Name but instead of a sun-drenched Italy and jerk-off-filled peaches, a picture is painted of a Sweden that disappeared, a simpler existence. Maybe it's a small-town perspective, maybe some big-city suburb. Who cares? Svart katt once again manages to describe a universal reality: Desperate hope of wanting to hold on to something that you, I and everyone know is impossible.

From a recurring “you and I”, Svart katt puts words to the time that has passed, about a simpler existence where everything might actually be about a bygone community. At the front of the barricade, with a fist in the air in a desperate attempt to make the memories stay.

According to the band themselves, everything is new on the new album “Tills ingen länger minns” (released August 22). Sure, they have developed their sound and they have thrown in a little extra keyboard, distorted synths, contrasted with a finely tuned clarinet – but what is impressive is how they have delved into their themes. Each song is a postcard from decades-old friendships or is it only a few months ago? It is diffuse but at the same time razor-sharp in a way no other band in Sweden is able to write rock music.

It has never hurt so much to listen to Svart katt as on "Tills ingen längre minns ", they have never been so forward-thinking and never better. Svart katt forever! Until No One Remembers.
