5-17-18
You are the first to know these dates for next year:
Prom is May 4
Graduation is May 19

Today, the forecast for Sunday looks much improved. I am growing more convinced that we will have an outdoor graduation ceremony. I know the kids really like the outdoor ceremony. We will be watching the weather closely. A decision will be made by 11:00 Sunday and posted to the FHS Facebook Page.

Tonight is Baccalaureate.
Tomorrow is Commencement Practice at 11:30 - Students must be present in order to walk during the Commencement Ceremony (unless they are in a school-sponsored athletic event).
Sunday is Commencement at 2:00.

In case of rain, each graduate will be given 8 tickets for entry into the High School Gymnasium. That number of tickets, coupled with the number of people needed to conduct the ceremony and number of graduates, puts us at our maximum capacity. All in attendance will require tickets, even young children because it is a capacity issue. Graduates are able to enter without a ticket. Students are allowed to give their extra tickets away. Anybody selling their tickets will have their entire allotment of 8 tickets voided. Students will be given their tickets on Friday during Commencement Practice if rain is threatening.
