POLLY MORGAN LIMITED EDITION SIGNED PRINTS AVAILABLE TO BUY

Polly Morgan has created five limited edition hand coloured gravure prints, featuring new works that tread a line between figuration and abstraction.  In each of the works, the artist playfully navigates between beauty and fear, attraction and repulsion, by shaping these anxiety-inspiring creatures into a series of graceful loops, knots and arabesques.

These prints are available to purchase in signed and numbered editions of 50. Priced at £289 they present an opportunity to own an exclusive but affordable work of art by Britain's foremost taxidermy artist.

Polly Morgan says of the prints:
'It was important for me to hand colour them to draw attention to the contrasting surfaces, colours and textures, and to clearly define the negative space within the loops.'

6pm - 9pm
FREE ADMISSION

Test Bed, 33 Parkgate Road,
London SW11 4NP

RSVP:  info@livebutoh.com

“Do you liveButoh?” is the question you will not know the answer to until you experience it yourself.
On 30th October 2014, liveButoh unveils the official Launch and Private view to London.
A special evening of a strikingly surreal and emotionally jolting Butoh performance, the experience is also intensified with the finest selection of Absinthe sponsored by Sip or Mix.
This immersive show will be held at the sparse and cavernous venue TestBed venue in Battersea - a 7000 sq ft space with recent events hosted by Richard Branson and Vivienne Westwood.
Sandy SY Lee, Founder and Director of liveButoh was discovered by Art Below Founder and Curator Ben Moore, who was invited to attend and discover an underground and immersive performance in the studios of Hackney Downs, East London. Impressed and stunned at the most extraordinary and unusual form of performance and live art, he is supporting Sandy, a recent graduate of Central Saint Martins to bring the experience of liveButoh to West London.
With the support of Art Below, multiple billboard posters coinciding with Tate Britain’s 30th Turner Prize at Pimlico underground station will showcase striking liveButoh images to give the traveling public a glimpse of what will be unfolding minutes walk away at the TestBed venue.
Special guests include alumni of Central Saint Martins, Gilbert and George. As Gilbert and George famously declared, “Nothing happens in the world that doesn’t happen to the east end”, liveButoh is ready to expose the hidden and avant-garde gem of Butoh philosophy of Transformation, Change and Progression.
Ben Moore says, ‘The experience at liveButoh’s Launch event will be a mixture of PunchDrunk and Secret Cinema meets Freud’s subconscious of Dreams and Interpretation. ‘
