What is trACker?
GodTracker and trACker owe their origins to an international Christian radio programme produced by Dudley Anderson called, OnTrack. Although OnTrack went off-air in 2005, trACker has continued to help people to track God's plans and purposes for their lives
since July 2003.

Going Through the Change of Life
I sat riveted as listened to a very inspiring
message being preached by a friend of mine on change. “Scientists have come up
with a new term to describe an organism that never changes,” he said with added
pause for effect. “They call it… dead!” The audience snickered as the humour of
the statement contrasted with its truth. Indeed, without being tempted into the
debate on the theory of evolution, every living creature from worms to whales;
from moss to man endures many changes in shape, size or form in the space of
its lifespan from the time it sprouts to the time it dies. Just take a look at
your old baby photos if you don’t believe me. As someone once said, “Change –
it’s here to stay.” |
The Bible talks about change as transformation. For
instance it says that the Holy Spirit is transforming us into Christ likeness
with ever increasing glory (2 Cor 3:18). To be more precise, the English word
“transformed” is translated from the Greek word, “metamorphoō” from which we get the
English word metamorphosis. Metamorphosis is something that happens to certain life
forms like caterpillars when they go through a change of life and become
butterflies.

"So, submit more and more to
God’s Word and Spirit so that you will be metamorphosed into the beautiful new
creation he has purposed you to be. Be encouraged, you are going through the
change of Life"

When a butterfly is born it
looks very different from the beautiful fluttering creature we have all come to
know and love. It’s born with a long green, brown or dirty grey body with short
legs and hairs all over it. It can’t fly and crawls around your vegetable patch
munching on your prize lettuce plants. A butterfly is born as a worm but soon, after
undergoing a few changes of its own like growing big and fat, just when its life
is filled with sunshine and juicy lettuce leaves it senses an insatiable urge
to build a tight silk cocoon prison around itself. Sealing it, our dear little
worm spends several days fasting and transforming – metamorphosing – into a
beautiful butterfly. This is the type of change the Holy Spirit performs in our
lives, spiritually.
Perhaps you’re feeling the
nudge of change today. It could be you feel as though you are being squashed
into a tight corner and feel there is no way out. Maybe you’re circumstances
have changed so much in the past few weeks or months that the view from for
your life’s window looks completely different to what it did before. Be rest
assured, my dear God Tracker, so long as you continue to acknowledge the Lord
and walk by faith in him, you’re in the best place you could ever be! This is
proof that you are not dead but are being transformed into Christ-likeness with
ever increasing glory. So, submit more and
more to God’s Word and Spirit so that you will be metamorphosed into the
beautiful new creation he has purposed you to be. Be encouraged, you are going
through the change of Life.
God-tracking is transforming
daily into God’s image.
Be blest

Verse of the Week |
Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and
approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

I Eagerly Await My Saviour
Philippians 3:20-21
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from
there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring
everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will
be like his glorious body.
Pray:
“O God thank you so much for stepping into my life
and changing me from the old person I used to be into the wonderful new
creation that I am today. Thank you
Jesus that you took my sin upon the cross so that, in you, I might be
transformed into God’s righteousness. And yet, I still have many, many things
in my life that I know displease you and need to be changed. I know that this
change is a daily process, O Lord, so help me face all change by the power of
your Holy Spirit in my life. I am a citizen of heaven and I know that one day I
will be physically transformed to be like Jesus is now. But until then, Lord, I
will welcome my metamorphosis as I eagerly await my saviour. Praise you, my
Lord. Amen”
