CANCELLATION OF TRAVEL TO THE TOP
DURING AND/IMMEDIATELY AFTER HEAVY RAIN
Due to the current road conditions leading to the top of the island, after a large amount of clay has been used to fill particular pot holes, the community vehicle WILL NOT operate during heavy rain or immediately after for 24 hours.
In order to avoid disappointment, please advise the driver of your destination at the time of booking the vehicle and he/she will advise if it is permitted to travel on that road on that particular day.
This is not a decision that is made by the individual driver, it is a decision based on passenger safety made by SIRA.
