The holiday season in our region is over, and I hope you had a wonderful summer! We're heading into autumn, a time when classic (open-top) driving can still be enjoyed to the fullest as our tree-lined roads gradually turn from green to yellow, red, and brown.
Today, I'm presenting 15 newly arrived classics, vintage cars, and sports cars from European brands for sale. Included is a super-rare Lancia Beta Spyder Zagato Special for the American market, of which only a few hundred were built. Also quite scarce is the highly original 1981 Range Rover Classic in excellent condition with a manual transmission and air conditioning! All the classics in this newsletter come with a rich history and are ready to continue this legacy with a proud new owner!

In fact, the Fiat 127 super mini, presented in 1971 and winner of the “European Car of the Year” title in 1972, can be considered the ‘mother’ of the (hot) hatchback genre! Bristol 400, year 1949. This is a matching numbers car; the body, engine, and gearbox are factory-original to the chassis. This Bristol 400 is finished in burgundy red combined with a magnolia (light beige) leather interior trimmed with burgundy piping and burgundy wool carpeting. As a renowned aircraft manufacturer, Bristol Aeroplane Co. Ltd. began designing its first car immediately after the Second World War. The first model—the Bristol 400—debuted in 1946. Volvo Amazon 121 Estate/Station Wagon, year 1967. Finished in light green with a matching green leatherette interior. This beautiful Amazon Estate was sold new in the Netherlands in 1967. The odometer currently reads 70,000 km, with only 5,000 km driven in the past five years – fully documented. The body has been beautifully restored and repainted in its original color. It has also been exceptionally well preserved and treated for rust protection. The engine has been replaced with a fully rebuilt replacement engine from Volvo Sweden. This well-known and very reliable B18 engine (1,778 cc) produces 85 hp and runs beautifully. Porsche 911 (type 993) Carrera Targa, year 1996. Finished in the original colour silver metallic combined with a black leather interior, this beautiful 1996 Porsche 911 Targa is in a sublime and completely original condition! The 911 of the 993 model series is the last air-cooled Porsche 911 and therefore highly sought after by enthusiasts and collectors. This example was sold new in Tokyo, Japan. This beautiful Porsche 911 was imported to the Netherlands in April 2020. In June 2020, the car had an extensive service at Porsche Centrum Twente with a mileage of 45794. An inspection report and invoice are available. The next regular maintenance was in June 2024 with a mileage of 64623. In the spring of 2025, the 911 Targa was taken to Lapaire Autospa for a full 'detailing' of the bodywork and interior. The last MOT inspection was in August 2025 at a mileage of 64,698 kilometers. This Porsche 911 Carrera Targa is a beautiful example with low mileage. A completely original car that will appeal to both the discerning Porsche enthusiast and collector!

Alfa Romeo Giulia 2000 GTV, year 1972. This is a beautifully restored example, finished in Alfa Romeo red (AR501) with a black interior and black leatherette upholstery. This stunning example was restored and rebuilt to a high level of perfection and with an eye for originality - the only 'sacrifice' to modern taste was the fitting of 15-inch Cromodora-style Alfaholics alloy wheels. This sublime Alfa Romeo 'Bertone' coupé was uncompromisingly restored in the Netherlands between 2012 and 2021. The project was led by the specialist company Alfaas. The bodywork was restored by Kousemaker Restorations and all mechanical components were overhauled by specialist Jaques van As. The total cost amounted to over €55,000. Lancia 2000 HF Coupé, 1973. Bodywork finished in metallic silver (Grigio Metallizzato) combined with a dark blue fabric interior. This beautiful Lancia 2000 HF Coupé is in excellent condition! The car looks and feels like a perfectly maintained and meticulously cared for original example! The odometer reads only 96,464 kilometers. Performance improvements were introduced in the HF version, such as the implementation of an electronic Bosch injection system and an advanced braking system (the so-called Superduplex system). Range Rover Classic, year 1981. Exterior in elegant Limestone (warm light grey) with a beige leather interior and matching carpet. Originally delivered new in Italy, this Range Rover was imported to the Netherlands in 2020. This is the sought-after two-door model, powered by the renowned 3.5-litre V8 petrol engine, equipped with twin SU carburettors and a new alternator. The car is fitted with a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive and of course a limited slip differential for serious off-road driving and towing heavy (horse) trailers on smooth country roads. This robust yet luxurious 4x4 in 1970s style (the ‘daddy’ of all modern SUVs, but with REAL off-road qualities!) features an extended dashboard, complete with additional central gauges, very comfortable seats, power steering and air conditioning. Triumph TR3 (‘small mouth’), year 1957. This fantastic Triumph TR 3 ‘small mouth’ (early model with the small grille) was first registered on January 30th 1957. With a powder blue painted body, a dark blue leather interior and Brooklands racing windows, this early TR3 is a real beauty. The car is fitted with overdrive. In July 2017, the bodywork was restored and repainted (photos available). After the bodywork was completed, the interior was fitted with new upholstery in 2018. The engine and gearbox were also overhauled in this period (photos available). Recently (August 2025) the car has been fully updated in the workshop of S2 Classic Cars. The Triumph TR3 has a glorious racing and rally history from the 1950s. A robust and sporty British roadster that takes you back in time and offers a lot of driving pleasure. Lancia Beta 2000 Spider Zagato Special, 1981 (first registration February 28, 1981). Rare and beautiful American Spider Zagato Special, finished in black (Nero 1F), combined with a sporty black leather/vinyl interior. The Lancia Beta 2000 Spider Zagato was a special for the American market celebrating the 60th anniversary of Carrozzeria Zagato. The model was presented in July 1979 and was based on the 3rd and 4th series Beta Spiders. The presented Beta 2000 Spider Zagato Special is a 1981 model, based on the 4th series Beta Spider and equipped with Bosch fuel injection. The Spider Zagato specials all have black bodywork with a double horizontal gold stripe running along the perimeter of the car. Other features include reinforced American bumpers, alloy wheels, a black leather/vinyl interior, and popular American options such as air conditioning and power windows as standard equipment. The odometer currently reads 48,248 miles. Between July 1979 and 1982, fewer than a thousand Series 3 (carbureted) and Series 4 Beta Spider Zagato models were built; exact numbers are unknown. The last model with fuel injection, as presented here, is the rarest version. Jaguar XK 140 FHC, year 1956. Colour black combined with a red leather interior and red carpet. This fantastic Jaguar XK 140 FHC (Fixed Head Coupé) was imported from California (USA) to the Netherlands. The car was registered in the Netherlands in 1996. In the period 2005-2007 the car was extensively restored to top condition. The car shows special exterior details such as the more powerful 15-inch chrome wire wheels, the special mesh grille and the large Lucas SLR 700 spotlights. These details betray the special and powerful mechanics underneath the body. This very special XK 140 is equipped with a 265 bhp 4.2 Liter XK engine with triple S.U. carburettors, a fully synchronized 4-speed gearbox with overdrive, more modern ventilated disc brakes on the front wheels and disc brakes on the rear wheels. The rear axle has a higher gear ratio and a limited slip differential. The cooling has been improved and an extra large fuel tank has been fitted. When you start the engine it immediately becomes clear that this car means business: the ‘big bore’ exhaust system provides a great soundtrack! This is a beautiful and very good Jaguar XK 140 FHC for the adventurous Jaguar driver!

Volkswagen Beetle 1303 LS convertible, year 1978. This beautiful VW Beetle is finished in the original colour peach red metallic (Pfirsichrot LE3Y), combined with a light brown leatherette interior and black carpet. The car is fitted with a black Sonnenland soft top and a black hood cover. This VW Beetle 1303 LS convertible is one of the 1,100 ‘Champagne Edition II’ cars built in 1978 for the American market. Apparently each dealer received only two cars. The special edition is recognizable by the peach red metallic exterior colour, a sand-coloured soft top, crème white upholstery and black carpet. In this example, the soft top and interior were renewed in a different colour scheme. In 1992, the car was exported to the Netherlands. This beautiful VW Beetle 1303 LS convertible is in a very good and beautiful condition and is ready to be enjoyed! The car comes with history, a Volkswagen birth certificate (October 9, 2024), an appraisal report (October 8, 2024) and a Carfax document. It also has a Blaupunkt radio-cassette system installed. The car was imported to the Netherlands in December 2002 and has been enjoyed by its second Dutch owner since June 2010. The odometer reads 154,410 kilometers and the car is in very good condition! In 2020, the car was professionally repainted, and at 139,000 kilometers, the engine and gearbox were overhauled by Rinsma in Berlikum. Morgan 4/4 1600, built in 1986. Finished in striking red with a black interior and a black vinyl soft top. The current odometer reading is 73,885 km. This Morgan was imported to the Netherlands in 1997 and has been owned by the last owner since 2007. It has been excellently maintained, and all documentation is available. This beautiful two-seater Morgan is powered by a strong and reliable 1.6-liter Ford engine. The four-cylinder engine produces 97 hp, more than enough to deliver spirited performance in this lightweight sports car! The interior has a classic English feel with the wooden steering wheel and walnut dashboard, adding to the charm of yesteryear. Mercedes-Benz 190 SL, year 1955. This is a matching numbers car with the original engine and gearbox still mounted. Finished in original silver metallic combined with a blue leather interior and blue carpet. Blue Sonnenland hood and blue hood cover. The 190 SL was built in November 1955 and delivered to the Belgian representative (IMA) in Brussels. In 1972, the car came to the Netherlands where it has been in the hands of the last owner since 1976, almost 50 years! Over the years, the car has undergone several partial restorations. The bodywork of the floor was renewed, the brakes were once overhauled, as were the carburetors, suspension and the exhaust system (now made of stainless steel). The final improvements were carried out in May 2008. The leather interior was renewed and a new Sonnenland hood (including the wooden parts) was fitted by Horst Kronseder in Erding (Germany). The odometer then read 93,000 kilometers. In 2009, the car was stored after a local rally and, due to unforeseen circumstances, hadn't been driven until recently. We rescued this beautiful car from obscurity and brought it back to life. Covered in dirt and dust, it was thoroughly washed and cleaned, and the mechanics were put back into operation. Currently, the car is in reasonable driving condition and is being sold "as is." This 1955 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL is 1000 Miglia eligible! More information on the website.
