Native Plant Conservation Campaign News: New plant species found in 2018, some highlights

Every year, more than 2000 new plant species are discovered in the wild. Scientists at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, discovered and named more than 100 plants in 2018. 
 
Their list of the top new plants includes carnivorous pitcher plants, exotic orchids and climbers with untapped medicinal powers. The plants' habitats range from South Africa and Bolivia to Vietnam.
