W. Bro. Stanley Hudson - 60 Years in Freemasonry

50 Years in freemasonry is a very long time, but 60 years in freemasonry is 20% longer and quite a rare achievement. I had a quick look back over the certificates from the last 20 years and there are only 3 or 4 recipients of a 60-year certificate. For the PGM's full address click here.

Bro. Gordon Smith - 50 Years in Freemasonry

It is a great pleasure to be here with you this evening to present Bro Gordon William Smith with a certificate and badge to recognise 50 years faithful service to freemasonry.

Bro Gordon, it is always a delight to present long service awards and I especially enjoy finding out a bit more about people. For the PGM's full address click here.

3 Provinces, 2 Lodges and, 1 Candidate
Thanks to the enthusiasm of The Provincial Grand Stewards' Lodge from the Province of Shropshire and the abundance of candidates that Saint Padarn Masonic Lodge has in the Province of West Wales, a remarkable gathering took place at the Welshpool Masonic Centre in the Province of North Wales. Deputy Grand Master Visits Saint Padarn Lodge

Saint Padarn lodge was honoured by the presence of the Deputy Grand Master, Sir David Hugh Wootton at its recent triple passing degree ceremony. Saint Padarn has been a University scheme member since 2019 and is associated with the students and staff from Aberystwyth University.
Due to Covid and other UGLE commitments Sir David finally, at the third attempt, managed to visit Saint Padarn and even navigated train strike chaos on the day. For the full story click here.

AEPOW Strawberry Fayre

The Fayre was opened by The P.G.M. of West Wales R.W.Bro. A. J Ross and the P.G.M. of South Wales R.W.Bro. D.G. Rowbottom along with the home manager Mrs Alison Aberdeen who cut the tape to open the Fayre. For more detail on this story click here.

A Big Week for Strumble Lodge

The second week in June always hosts the final meeting of the Season for both the United Grand Lodge of England and Strumble Lodge. Due to an ancient scheduling error in London, the Quarterly Communication of UGLE always clashes with a regular meeting of Strumble Lodge. For more pictures and words click here.
