Media Alert: Sligo

Where: Sligo Library, Stephen Street, Sligo
What: Launch of the Traveling Library, the first ever mobile library stocked exclusively with books made by children for children.
Join us at the launch for colourful photo and interview opportunities with local children and librarians!
This is a cross-border initiative by Kids' Own (a Sligo-based publisher), working with Sligo Library Service, Donegal Library Service and Libraries NI, funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Following the launch the library will embark on a tour:
Sligo: 14th June – 29th June (workshops on 21st, 22nd, 23rd)
Derry: 5th July – 20th July (workshops TBC)
Bundoran: 26th July – 9th Aug (workshops on 28th July, 3rd Aug & 5th Aug)
Enniskillen: 5th Sept – 20th Sept (workshops TBC)
After the tour, Kids' Own will produce a limited edition publication with a selection of the work made by the children during the tour and this will then be added to the collection within the Library.
