Notes from the Road
The Dosey Doe's show was outstanding. That's a very audience friendly venue. Small enough so that every seat is good; large enough to host a good-sized crowd.  Wade's show was sold out. If you've never had a chance to be at a Wade Hayes' acoustic show, you ought to put that on your bucket list. He's one artist that doesn't need all the studio fixes to enhance his voice or his guitar playing. Pure Wade is what you get and it's outstanding. The crowd included a lot of travelers - states that I counted included California, Colorado, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, Alabama, Oklahoma and Iowa. I'm sure there were others that I didn't recognize.

This song was written by Trent Willmon and his mother Billie Jenkins was there. She brought her iPad up to the stage to cue Wade on the words. Trent is one of Wade's best friends and it was a special moment.
