CLASSICAR GARAGE NEWSLETTER 158, 15 JULY 2020 |
|
Dear classic car enthusiast,
In our changed world with social distancing, and where travelling is no longer what it was, we notice an increased interest to buy and enjoy classic cars. In the last weeks we have met a few enthusiasts with their spouses who had sold their cars via our garages in the past because of their age. They were now buying new classic cars for summer drives in the region and for weekend trips! They had missed the experience and the classic lifestyle!
Today you will be introduced to fourteen newly arrived classic and sports cars at Altena Classic Service and at Imparts. Also, I present new and updated restoration projects at Amicale Facel Holland and at Classic Job! "Enjoy the Ride!"
With best wishes,
Marc Vorgers. N.B. Dear reader, you receive our newsletter because you have actively subscribed to it,

This fantastic 1969 Porsche 911 2.2T Targa in the wonderful colour ‘Irish Green’ was recently imported from the United States by a client of Classic Job. The chrome bright work and other exterior parts were still in good condition as were the mechanical parts. The 911 was dismantled and only a little rust was found in known places. The corrosion was removed, and the bodywork was partially pried with epoxy. After that the car was given a proper paint job in the original colour. Lamps and other exterior parts were restored and or renewed and the engine was cleaned and partially taken apart for extensive check-up and service. A rare 1969 Blaupunkt Frankfurt Stereo radio for Porsche 911 F-series was found and will be installed shortly. After that the car will be given a brand-new interior to original specifications.
