TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day up 1.52% at 215,092. Utility Service Providers (+4.84%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Tetile (-3.50%). Banking (+3.58%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 1,249 billion (approx. USD 29 million). Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +2.58%) Mellat Bank (BMLT +4.68%) and Pars Petrochemical Co. (PARS +3.02%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Mellat Bank (BMLT +4.68%) was the most traded stock with IRR 593 billion (approx. USD 14 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 12,107 billon (approx. USD 288 million), up 12% from the previous trading session.
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 10,062 for a gain of 1.87%. The biggest riser was Fajr Petrochemical Co. (BFJR +4.99%) while Telecommunication Company of Iran (MKBT -1.21%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 2,782 billion (approx. USD 66 million), up 6% from the previous trading session. |
