2x Power Outages Next
Week!
There will be 2 power
outages next week as Ausgrid work on our energy
supply's reliability. Unfortunately, they can not
combine the works on the same day and thus cause only
one outage.
The first planned
power outage will affect the South side of the island
along Thompson and Richard Rds generally between
Carols and Bell Wharves. This will occur on Tuesday,
22nd of September, between 7:00am and 1:00pm. Please
see this map below for further details.
The second planned power outage will affect the whole
island and is on Thursday, 24th of September, between
7:00am and 5:00pm.
Due to the ongoing works to upgrade our power supply,
Ausgrid is required to cut the supply of power on Thursday
the 24th of September, from 7:00am through to 5:00pm.
Planned Power Outage:
24th Sept
Start: 7:00am on 24 Sep
2020
Finish: 5:00pm on 24 Sep 2020
Duration: 10 hours
SIRA will send out a further reminder a few days prior to
the outage day.
