Joshua 10:13-14 So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the LORD listened to a man. Surely the LORD was fighting for Israel!

HOW FAR WILL HE GO?

How far would you go to save one of your children who was in trouble? You would probably say, "As far as I possibly could." You would likely do anything, even to the point of giving up your own life, if it meant saving the lives of your little loved ones.

How far will God go to take care of His dear children? We get an idea here when Joshua took the army of Israel against the Amorites. Joshua prayed that the sun would stand still so his warriors would have enough daylight to rout the enemy completely -- and God actually answered his prayer in just that way. The LORD literally moved heaven and earth in order to do what was best for His own.

It wasn't the only time God ever moved heaven and earth to care for His people either. Remember that Friday afternoon when the skies went dark for three hours and the earth shook? It was a day when He cared for the needs of the whole world.

How far will God go for you? There's really no limit, is there? For "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32)
