Scotland Island Fair

It's all hotting up for the fair, and although we do have some volunteers we still need a bunch of strong men and women to help put up two big marquees, ten stallholder tents, tarpaulins, banners, shade sails, stall holder trestles, cafe tables, chairs, umbrellas and a stage in Catherine Park! The mother load will be arriving in Catherine Park at about 8am Friday 29 October. We will be setting up from Friday morning , in preparation for Sunday 31 October.

Melbourne Cup Day @ the Fire Station

 The SIRFB invites all Islanders and friends to join them for Melbourne Cup festivities.  Starting at 2pm on Tuesday, 2 November, the $2 entry charge includes snacks and nibbles. 

The bar will be open and $2 and $5 sweeps will be available.  So join us for a glass of bubbly and the live action of the race that stops the nation!
