QEKThe presentation will cover sensors, controllers, different communication types between sensors and controllers, basically, analogue mA, analog Voltage, Digital communication(RS485) advantages and disadvantages of all of the above communication. Importance of calibration of devices as it relates to reliable data.
Controller discussion to include the necessity of such devices in applications as standalone or part of a network, wiring considerations, ease of programming , data storage, IP capabilities of controllers, etc...

Stan Conquest - QELStan Conquest graduated from Concordia University in Mechanical Engineering.  His career has covered the design and system integration of high vacuum systems for the semiconductor and research industry, engineering of high pressure (5500psi and up) compressed air/dryer systems for air blast circuit breakers, contribution to the establishment of a certified trace moisture measurement laboratory that is currently used by NRC as the national standard, as well as marketing trace moisture analyzers worldwide.
Stan is currently the Vice President of Quatrosense Environmental Limited a manufacturer of Gas Detectors and Controllers
