On May 10, 2012, Chef Tim Love will be hosting his second Burgers 4 Babies fundraiser charity event to raise money for Fort Worth’s NICU Helping Hands Foundation, whose goal is to develop hospital and community-based projects that provide education and support to families of premature infants. Love has once again organized an all-star roster of local and national chef talent for the event, including Jonathan Waxman from New York’s Barbuto and Bravo’s Top Chef Masters, Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo from Los Angeles’ Animal and Son of a Gun and Food & Wine Best New Chefs 2009, Tim Byres from Smoke in Dallas, Ilan Hall from The Gorbals in Los Angeles and Bravo’s Top Chef, and several other top toques.
“This event is extremely near and dear to me,” says Love. “My daughters were born prematurely, and thanks to the amazing staff in the NICU, these beautiful girls are here today. An event like this combines a great cause with outstanding food from some of the country’s most amazing chefs. I’m honored and touched that they’re all going to be here to help raise money for such an important issue.”
