Surprise! We got a little bit of Dream In Color Smooshy Cashmere. This yarn really lives up to it's name. A 3-ply blend of 70% superwash merino, 20% cashmere, and 10% nylon, Smooshy Cashmere begs to be squished and bounces right back. With 400 yards per 113g skein, Smooshy Cashmere is classified as a fingering weight, but would work for some light sport weight projects as well. Some patterns that work great with just one skein of Smooshy Cashmere are Starshower (cowl), Willow Cowl, Lightweight Hipster (shawl), Easy Goes It (shawl), Newborn Vertebrae, Podster Gloves, and of course, the beloved Sophie Scarf. |
We had a couple custom orders for the Della Q Train Cases and Maker's Mini Messenger bags and we thought they were so fabulous that we needed to stock them in the shop! The train cases are hard sided with the option to attach 2 short handles, a long strap, or both! They have a place to stow your yarn with a yarn guide so you can knit when the case is closed, a tray for your notions and the inside of the lid is magnetic, perfect for holding onto your metal stitch markers and tapestry needles that love to get lost.
The Maker's Mini Messenger bag is made with their sturdy waxed canvas and it is packed with pockets. There are 2 main zipper close pockets, a shallow zipper pocket on the front, a snap pocket on the back, an interior zipper pocket, and interior open pockets, some which are perfectly sized for your crochet hooks or dpns! It's also got a yarn guide and a place to store your stich markers.
We also have some of their Oh Snap Sacks. These are made of a see-through mesh, which is handy for those of us who can't remember what's inside every bag. The snaps can close around your yarn in various ways to serve as yarn guides and there is an interior zipper pocket as well as interior open pockets to keep your yarn skeins in order.
Last, but not least, we have some needle and notions cases. If your dpns and circulars are a chaotic mess, wrangle them all into one of these cases and make it easier to find the one your need next time. |

Smalliday Sets are Emma's version of advent sets- the idea is you open one “Small” a day during the holidays! Each mini skein is individually wrapped and meant to be kept secret until the first color is opened December 1, and another each day after for 24 days total. It’s a great gift for your favorite fiber artist or a treat for yourself.
Each set includes 24 mini skeins in brand-new colors, a Little Bee Lip Balm, an Emma’s Yarn sticker, and pattern suggestions.
Hint: The color theme for this year’s Smalliday Set is “WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE” |
Introducing the new Zodiac Series from Emma's Yarn! As they follow the sun’s path through the cosmos throughout the next astrological year, they are releasing a Theme Pack and a Super Silky Trio for each of the twelve signs of the zodiac as they come up! We will have all 12 colorpacks and theme packs as they come out.
October 22rd marks the beginning of the seventh month of the astrological year, Scorpio. People born with the sun in Scorpio are said to be passionate, loyal, and intuitive. The purples, pinks, and reds in the “Scorpio” Theme Pack and Super Silky Trio reflect the intense, passionate nature of our Scorpio friends!

Sheep Balls
Knit this sweet little ornament for your Christmas tree, or your rear view mirror. Sheep Balls by Dana Carruth can be found in so many places as year round reminders of our beloved friends (and supplier of wool,) the sheep. It takes a little finagling to knit this onto a ball and you have to use dpn’s for the project, but it’s well worth it!
Everything you need will be provided in a handy kit for the class and there will even be a few extra kits to purchase at the class. You will need to bring dpn’s in US0, US1, or the size you need to achieve gauge.

Basic crochet skills are required for this class, and we will be learning how to crochet in the round, how to make increases, how to adjust a pattern to fit your foot, and how to seam the heel together before finishing the slipper.
