TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day up 1.23% at 1,375,541. Banking (+4.11%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Transportation & Logistics (-3.25%). Automotive (+2.36%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 18,254 billion (approx. USD 70 million). Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES +4.99%) Golgohar Mining & Industrial Co. (GOLC +4.08%) and Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Co. (CHML +4.63%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Social Security Investment Co. (TAMN -1.70%) was the most traded stock with IRR 8,503 billion (approx. USD 32 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 117,317 billion (approx. USD 451 million), down 21% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 71,665 for a gain of 1.49%. The biggest riser was Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES +4.99%) while Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (HKSJ -3.71%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 43,891 billion (approx. USD 168 million), down 38% from the previous trading session. |
