Workshop 2023!
Mark your calendars! The dates for the next Musician's Workshop are set for 2023! Mark your calendars to attend the workshop on June 16-17 at the Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin. This year's workshop will feature a fantastic interactive learning session:
Title: PROPPED!
Hosted by Professors Whitney Berry and Aaron Kirschner
Description:
This interactive session will focus on various “props” that can be used for teaching music theory and Aural Skills. It will begin with a demonstration from the session hosts of a few sample activities using different teaching props. Then, participants will be divided into teams for an interactive game based on the “CHOPPED” cooking show. Like the cast of “Whose Line is it Anyway,” teams will choose from a list of topics and props, and create an activity to present. All participants as an “audience” will provide feedback, and the hosts will present an award to the winning team. Win or lose, all are sure to come away with some fresh new ideas to spice up their teaching!
