Brady will read from her Flannery O'Connor award-winning story collection, Curled in the Bed of Love - called "an achingly lovely collection about the ache of love" by Robert Olen Butler (author of A Small Hotel). Brady's stories are set in the Bay Area, featuring characters as resolute in evading middle-class conformity as they are in clinging to their illusions about love. What lies in the bed of love are failed dreams, reproofs, ambitions, and stubborn beliefs.
 Tenorio, winner of a Pushcart Prize and a Whiting Writer's Award, will read from Monstress, his collection of heartbreaking, vivid stories set amongst the Filipino-American communities of California and the Philippines.
