As the saying goes, "you can only dance at one wedding/eat one Shabbat dinner at a time" and unfortunately, our scheduled May 26th dinner was the same time as the Beth Am Community Shabbat Shavuot dinner, so we are moving our DPL dinner to Friday, May 19th.
So please sign up now for our first in-person Diaspora Potluck (DPL) Shabbat dinner since 2019. These dinners are held in various homes in our community, both close to and further away from Beth Am.
It’s a fun, meaningful way to spend an intimate Shabbat dinner and will enhance your overall Shabbat experience.
During these dinners, you can meet new people and get to know members of the Library Minyan community that you may have been sitting next to for years but know very little about beyond their names. These potluck dinners are for everyone: couples, singles, families, people who are young or young-at-heart.

Please consider signing up as a HOST. Hosts will open their homes to 6-10 guests, who will be assigned by the committee. Hosts will contact guests regarding meal contributions, which can be dropped off earlier in the day or brought to the dinner.
On the GUEST sign-up form you can specify if you need to be within walking distance of the hosts’ home. Hosts live varying distances from Temple Beth Am. Also, you can list the ages of children attending, if you are a vegetarian, vegan, or if you have food or pet allergies. Children of similar ages will be placed together whenever possible.
