"I don't think God wants to be worshipped. I think the only pure worship of God is by loving one another, and I think all oher forms of worship become a substitue for the love that we should show one another."
- Charles M. Schulz

"Happy New Year, first of all, and I hope that you have about a million or two million more (if we get through the summer)."
- Jimi Hendrix

Los Manatees are changing their name back to "The Mighty Manatees". Yes, we are putting "The "Mighty" back in The Manatees. And it's about time, too.

The Mighty Manatees are releasing their mighty new CD on Sunday, June 15 (Father's Day). There is a new song on the album called, "Father's Day". We're actually considering calling the album, "Father's Day". Here are some of the other names we're considering calling the album:

And it goes on...Vote for your favorite. Come up with your own. Let us know.

This February 28 (Thurs.), The Mighty Manatees will be returning to The Oakmont in Havrtown, PA. Showtime is 8:00pm.

On Sat., March 1, The Mighty Manatees will be debuting at Cedars Pub in Skippack, PA (on Rt. 73). Showtime is 9:30.

All of us here at Manatees International would like to welcome little baby boy Braydon to the scene. He and his mama Cherri are both doing well. We can't wait to see the two of them out at the first Fitzwater Station gig of the spring.

Manatee Fun Fact: Did you know that recently The Mighty Manatees played a birthday party in New Jersey with a band called "Stir Fried" which included the drummer for the New Riders Of The Purple Sage? It's true!

There is almost too much news to report so I'll have to wait until next time for a very special Ranger Report. See you at the shows.

P.S. This just in: The Grape Street in Manayunk, PA, and The Sandtrap in Limerick, PA have both closed their doors and gone out of business. It seems like more and more live music clubs are calling it quits these days...
