October brings out the bush in bloom, with birds in hot pursuit.
A special one-day "Birding Essentials" workshop is being held on Sunday, 30 October 2005 at The Coastal Environment Centre, Narrabeen.
This one day workshop will be led by well-known experts, Dr. Tony Saunders and John Gale. It will provide an intensive and enjoyable focus on improving bird watching skills, bird physiology and amazing adaptations as well as habitat issues and living with birds in an urban environment. Participants will also be given practical advice in encouraging appropriate bird habitats.
As a special feature, the day includes two field trips to Pittwater birding hotspots.
