We are continuing to build this project, working towards a full premiere in Fall 2015. Some of you saw our work-in-progress showing at the Live Arts Exchange festival. Liked what you saw? Can you help us keep going?
We are currently in the midst of a one-week creative residency at REDCAT. We are heading to San Francisco to do a workshop showing at the FRESH Festival (in January), followed by a residency in Portland, OR for a month at Performance Works NorthWest.
Where does the money go?
I am raising these funds to support paying the amazing dancers and collaborating artists I am working with: taisha paggett! Marbles Rae Shao-Lan! Maria de los Angeles Cuca Esteves! Gregory Barnett! Dancers pay for rehearsals. Airfare to get us where we're going. Lodging when we get there. Food to keep us moving.
I know there are so many worthy causes, artists, and organizations asking for help, so I greatly appreciate any support you can offer for this project and the artists involved. If everyone on this list gave (a little or a lot), we would easily meet our goal. If you've already donated, can you let your friends know about the campaign?
