Sage Hill News ~ On Second Thought ~

“Love is In the Details” ~~ I know because when I don’t supply it, I feel the void.

Whether we are speaking of tea for a special friend, preparing the beds /soil for gardening, or making dinner for the family…it is truly the little touches that make it special, work better, and/or taste better. Take that extra step; add that extra bit that keeps the memory alive long after the fact.

After a long awaited spring without every day rain…yes, it has finally stopped…I believe we have clear sunny days in the weeks ahead…at least for awhile Good enough…

We’ve been playing catch up in the gardens and have accomplished a lot in a few days.

Many things…including all the herbs were already above ground and just needed a couple of sunny days…they are off and growing-squash, cucumber, bean’s, spinach and oh so much lettuce.!

Today I planted leek, more parsley, some woodland fern, and marigold’s around the garden beds. (Awesome way to control insects.)

Do you know? Planting (mint) with tomatoes, (rosemary) with beans, carrots and cabbage, and (garlic) with your roses will deter pest and contribute to the better health and growing/producing process.

Do you need some constructive help…..with your garden projects? The Classroom at Sage Hill has all your needs covered…take a peek, sign up, and join the group…you’ll be pro in the garden in a few short months.

A Reminder…..fresh harvested herbs are being processed daily….Seasoning blends, teas, and tisanes…..chemical free, and no GMO seed or other ingredients used. **

Tip…Oregano packs 42 times more antioxidants than apples.

I am only one, but still I am one.

I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.
