The Swedish legendary band bob hund's back. Their new album is released in 2 parts. First up is the A-side DRÖMMEN ÄR EN RÅVARA, out today January 26. 6 songs recorded with Per Sunding as producer in Tambourine Studios Malmö. The first time bob hund met Per Sunding was in 1993, and then they recorded half an hour of music in 27 minutes. By then, all the songs were deeply engraved in both muscle memory and bone marrow. 30 years later, each song was like a little puzzle they were trying to solve together, and this time half an hour of music could take 28 days to record.

“We were impossible at that time. The producer got a resounding NO to the humble suggestion of adding the tiniest little tambourine in a single chorus – now we've been begging on our bare knees for tambourines in all the choruses, but now it was the producer's turn to say NO.” says Thomas Öberg, the orchestra's vocalist. All pop music requires a flat NO every now and then. This unfortunately led to the songs taking forever to complete.

Guitar equilibrist John Essing has been on call and watched over all stages of the recording and quality-assured products from the first note to the last, for a good two years. Even so, he is totally surprised by the end result. "It hasn't been easy," says Jonny.

bob hund also goes on a spring tour, a long lap through the whole of Sweden. During 18 evenings, they will perform 18 different versions of the show "Den overkliga sanningen om bob hund”.

"The truth is more unreal than ever," says bob hund's Thomas Öberg.

Later this year the B-side, VERKLIGHETEN ÄR EN RAFFINERAD PRODUKT, will be released.

"They will help and help each other. bob hund is trying to study a number of counter-relationships both with binoculars and microscopes. We are sure to fail to unravel the concepts and in the end bob hund will probably fabricate more questions than answers."
