We’re seeing continued strong investments in enhancing ecommerce experiences, from gorgeous new looks to deep, behind the scenes algorithms, helping us discover and enjoy online content and products.
Now that we can collect and synthesize enormous amounts of data, there seems to be an insatiable appetite for understanding how, when, where and why customers do what they do.
Brands now understand the implications of social media; that space continues to be hot.
Jobs creating products (product management, engineering, design), and marketing and selling them continue to be where the most demand is.
The trend continues—companies continue to hold out for top tier talent. Identifying great talent is rarely the issue for us, but attracting that talent to a particular company is increasingly difficult. With incredibly busy people presented with a lot of opportunity—it takes a highly customized, time consuming approach to be compelling. Closing that talent often requires pulling out all the stops, from getting board members involved to customizing scope to bringing forward a great package.
