American Library Association / Association for Library Services to Children

as a

2010 NOTABLE CHILDREN'S RECORDING! ! ! ! ! !

There is no higher honor given.
Our little independent project is judged to be one of the 25 best children's records
of any kind put out last year, by anybody, in the whole country, in any category,
including music, audiobook, audiodrama, book-CD combination, etc etc etc.

It's the only storytelling CD honored this year. In fact, it's the only one that made the finals.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

1. respects young people's intelligence and imagination
2. exhibits venturesome creativity
3. in exemplary ways reflects and encourages the natural interest of children and young adolescents
4. depicts excellence through the effective use of voices, music, sound effects, and language
5. maintains high standards in aesthetic and technical aspects
6. adapted materials remain true to, expand, or complement the original work
