Photoworks Head of Projects, Celia Davies, is curatorial advisor for this year's HOUSE festival.

Returning for a third year, HOUSE features more than a dozen projects in small galleries, domestic spaces, artists' studios and back room locations across Brighton and Hove.

In addition to her role as advisor for the House festival as a whole, Celia has curated Domestic Interiors, an exhibition bringing together three photographers who take domestic space as their subject and transform the ordinary into the uncommon.

Sian Bonnell's Everyday Dada series began as a playful comment on banal food packaging. The work has developed into a series of chapters on the nature and quality of supermarket food.

In his ongoing series Constellations, David Spero introduces coloured rubber balls, audio tape an wood strips into locations, marking three-dimensional forms in space that seem to shift back and forth between different points.

Nigel Shafran's series Compost Pictures quietly documents an ever changing bowl of kitchen scraps ready for the compost pile and carries a more abstract sense of the passage of time and light.
