The Nontrad News #10
  August 2011
Welcome to the Newsletter for Nontraditional Students.

Nontraditional students are going back to school after a break. They are going for their dreams. Go, Nontrads!

A big welcome goes out today to all new and old Nontraditional News readers.
We are in the process of switching our Mailing List provider. So far, I like it. I think that the newsletter is easier to read. I want to welcome everyone to the latest issue of the Nontrad News. It's an exciting time to be a nontraditional student. There are more and more Nontrads attending school now. I think that is great!

Nontraditional students are getting interviewed more than ever, and are pioneers for more nontraditional students who will decide to go back to school later on. Nontrads, you are doing a good deed, for yourself, and for others.

Getting ready for school... and the latest news.

Many nontraditional students are getting ready for school. There are classes to add, and schedules to make. There are materials to buy, books to choose, and more. It's an exciting time.
Some nontraditional students attended Summer School, and some will start for the first time this Fall. I want to wish you the best of luck with your classes.

Some helpful postings for all nontraditional students are on the Nontraditional Student blog. Here are links to them:

News from the Nontrad website
I am currently upgrading the Nontraditional Student website, state by state. The newest states that have been upgraded with scholarships and other links are Kentucky, Colorado, and Maryland. Send in tips, groups, and info. from your state if you would like it included on your State Page. See the Nontrad Sitemap page  or the Nontrad Map Page to find your state page there.

Another resource for Nontraditional Students
I have recently begun another resource blog. It has Scholarship and Grant opportunities listed on it for many different fields. It is the Find Scholarships and Grants blog. You can join this blog at its Twitter page too.
