Be sure your main valve is closed and watch for any leaks during the coming days. |

Huntsville Loses Another Gem:
Huntsville lost another longtime resident Tuesday evening with the passing of Verna Hislop.
Verna was the mother of Kent (Sandy), a lifelong resident of Huntsville.
Verna lived on First street and about 6600 E for much of her life, but was most recently living with Kent and Sandy who were generously caring for her.
She was one of the true gems of Huntsville and she will be missed.
Verna's funeral will be held this morning at 11 am at the Myers Mortuary - 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held from 9:45 - 10:45 am prior to the service.

Cemetary Clean up this morning: |
Come join us for a few hours... this morning to help clean up the cemetery for Memorial Day. Be sure to bring shovels, rakes, trimmers, etc., but most importantly, yourself and some helpers. The fun starts at 8 am and will run until about 1 PM.

Valley School Open House May 9: |

The open house to commemorate the closing of Valley School will be held Today, May 9, 2009 from 4PM until 8 PM.

Huntsville Landfill (Green Waste Disposal Facility) To Be Open Today: |
Landfill is open... the Landfill will be open Saturday's from 10 am until 2 pm, and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM until further notice in the fall.
Be sure to buy a dump pass at the town hall, or they will be available at the landfill for $20.
