All union members are eligible to vote on the new contract.

and VOTE on the contract on April 4th from 6am-6pm.

· A total 1.6% package restored on July 1st, 2012
o 50% of the 48 hour furlough removed from contract
o .7% of the 1% wage decrease restored to the contract
o Vacation Buyback restored once a year to the contract
· If the City budget stabilizes on July 1st, 2013 Unit 3 employees receive
o No required furlough days
o Remaining wages restored
o Restoration of 12 hour rule
o Restoration of Linguistic pay
o Restoration of deferred compensation
o Possible wage increase based on economic triggers

· Longevity SAVED
· Long Term Disability SAVED
· Unions Life Insurance policy SAVED
· Sick Leave NOT capped for pension
· Sick Leave Hours now paid out at time of death
· Domestic partner now included in Leave policy benefits
