Our 2016 Emerging Artist Fellow Nick Davies will collaborate with the Eketahuna Youth Club to develop a new act. Nick Davies is a NZ-based circus artist / physical performer specializing in aerial straps, and also has a Master's Degree in Social Work. His Fellowship at NZ Pacific Studio is made possible through funds raised at the 'Lady in the Van' film premiere earlier this year at Regent Cinema, Masterton.

Our 2016 Emerging Artist Nick Davies will juggle and mingle at the Masterton Rotary 13th Annual Teddy Bear Picnic, Henley Lake, Masterton, a free community event open to all.
Singer-songwriter Sarah Dill, a soul-filled muscian with us from Minnesota, USA, has been performing at several venues around the Wairarapa -- a House Concert in Masterton in September; at The Tin Hut in Featherston in October; and just the other day at the Wellington Folk Festival. Next up is a music event for all ages at Ventana Creative Collective in Martinborough, open to all.
From November 1-30, NZ Pacific Studio welcomes applications for two Fellowships in 2017:
Lavinia Winter Fellowship - for female artists under the age of 40
Masterton Fellowship - for artists working in any media. November 30th, midnight NZ time, is the application deadline.
Many thanks to the Winter whanau & to Masterton District Council for their financial support.

ART IS A LIVING THING
exhibition & performances at Aratoi Museum
NZ Pacific Studio exists to provide a space
where art can live and thrive.
Hundreds of artists have come to create
at our beautiful home in Mount Bruce
since our founding, in 2001.
This 15-year retrospective exhibition
celebrates 15 years at our residency centre
with art from 15 countries.

Painting. Photography. Sculpture. Music.
Printmaking. Poetry. Installation. Animation.
Fibre art. Storytelling. Short story. Video.

Also on display will be work from our collection:
Kate Coolahan, John Bevan Ford, Pippa Sanderson, and items from our 1911 homestead.
This exhibition is made possible with support from Trust House.

We are a registered charity and survive
and thrive on support from the community.
Donate.  Volunteer.
 Sponsor an artist.

Think about spending some time
(1 weekend to 3 months) at our Studio to create.
To apply for a residency, visit our website.

New Zealand Pacific Studio is located on State Highway 2,
two km north of Pukaha Mount Bruce National Wildlife Centre
(to which NZPS artists-in-residence gain complimentary entry).
