Wow, Fall hit fast this year!! Not that we are complaining, we have been loving the cool mornings and the color changes happening in the trees all around us. For yarn lovers, Fall marks the beginning of pulling out those handknits and showing off your beautiful work. It also signals that it is time to pull out those needles, hooks, and looms and get started on those cold weather projects.
To further inspire you, we have invited Helena from Oink Pigments to do a pop-up yarn shop this weekend. She will be bringing tons of her luscious yarns as well as samples to inpire you. Her pop-ups have long been customer favorites so you won't want to miss out.

Now let's talk stitch markers. When we saw these adorable flower markers from Allstitch Studio, we knew that we needed to carry them. They have a metal core and a nylon coating which makes them slide along your work with ease. We have two sizes and four colorway choices available, perfect for brightening up your day. |
Since we are on the subject of adorable notions, we went a little overboard when picking out new point protectors and now we have a ton of different sizes and shapes to accessorize your knitting needles while you are away from your project. Oh and there is the added bonus of keeping all those stitches right on the needles where they belong. |

Storm Hood
Not really a hat and not really a cowl, the Storm Hood by Albiona McLochlainn is the ultimate winter accessory- worn as a cowl when you are inside and with the hood up when you are outside. In this class, Susan will guide you through this beginner-friendly project focusing on combining circular and flat knitting, adding a decorative braid, and creating a seam with a three-needle bind off.

Mitred Square Class
Mitered square blankets have been around for years, but recently they made a huge resurgence in the knitting community via the Cozy Memories Blanket (or any one of the dozens of variations) where you use your yarn scraps to make a blanket over the course of several years. In this class, Susan will teach you the basic mitered square technique as well as a few variations. You will also learn how to pick up stitches to join squares without seaming. If you can knit garter stitch, you can do this!!

Project Help Sessions
Whether you are stuck in the middle of a pattern and want some guidance, need some finishing help, or just need a bit of motivation, join Susan for her Project Help Sessions and get those projects done. No matter which fiber art you enjoy- knitting, crochet, weaving, felting, Susan can get you and your project back on track. Sessions will take place on the first Wednesday of every month and each group session is $20 for two hours and space is limited so register early.
