A Smashing Time in New Zealand!
W Bro Ryland James' Rally Car is retrieved from the hillside
In his capacity as the Treasurer and Secretary to the Masonic Charities Association, W Bro Ryland James is very used to “going down the Bank,” but W Bro Ryland is also a keen motor sports enthusiast and his love of banks got the better of him during a rallying trip to New Zealand in November. W Bro Ryland was co-driving, when the car he was in left the course at speed and careered down the hillside. Being a left hand drive vehicle, W Bro Ryland was on the side which took the brunt of the impact. Fortunately both occupants of the car walked away with only minor cuts and bruises!

And who won the Travelling Gavel?? You can read the whole story here. |
