Meet at the Visitor Center (2591 Whitehall Neck Road, Smyrna, DE) This is basically a day trip. Good idea to bring lunch. Bombay Hook is about 2 hours from Baltimore and is one of the best birding locations in the

Saturday, August 26, 8-930AM, Saturday Bird Walk at Patterson Park
Over 200 bird species have visited Patterson Park, an important migratory stopover in Baltimore City! Audubon experts will lead us in search of avian friends! Bring the whole family - all ages and abilities welcome! No experience necessary. Meet at the fountain in the northwest corner of Patterson Park, closest to the intersection of E. Lombard St. and S. Patterson Park Ave. Email baltimore@audubon.org for directions or questions, or if you'd like to borrow binoculars.

Sunday, August 27, 10:00AM-12PM, Co-Leader: Ruth Bergstrom, Pickering Creek Audubon Center--Canoeing and Birding,  $15.00 per person
Come to the Eastern Shore and paddle the waters of Pickering Creek with PCAC staff followed by an optional bird walk on the Wetland and Pond loops trails led by Ruth Bergstrom. Canoes, PFD's and paddles provided or bring your own. Children 13 years and older welcome with an adult. Registration required  by calling 410-822-4903.  No flip flops!  Please wear shoes securely attached to your fee.

Patterson Park Audubon 
Saturday Sept. 2, 9-1030AM,  Habitat Team
We are building bird habitat in Patterson Park and need your help! These native gardens provide food and homes for the park's wildlife, and learning spaces for students. Tools, gloves, water, and snacks provided. Service hours awarded to helpful students. No need to register. Meet at the wetland garden, uphill from the Boat Lake.  Email baltimore@audubon.org with questions or for directions.

Join Pickering Creek Audubon Center naturalists for Monarch butterfly tagging on two dates in September. Witness the incredible migration of the monarch while exploring the trails on the 410-acre wildlife sanctuary. Participate in the University of Kansas’s widespread Monarch Watch tagging program and learn how to protect monarch habitat in your backyard or community! Register by calling 410-822-4903
