Why: This year has been an extremely challenging year for charities who have been on the frontline during the pandemic supporting people in their communities. The income of the sector has been severely hit. In a recent survey, 82% of charities said they are not sure if they will have enough funds to fund their services next year. The Wheel is projecting that the sector’s income will be down by over €400 million this year.
