July 2012
Simple. Organized. Life-Changing.
Forte Organizers helps individuals and families stay organized at home, as well as teaching business people organization skills at work.
Announcements...

Forte’s in-house organizing seminars will start up again in the fall. Visit our website and read future newsletters for class schedules. Several new seminars have been added to the line up. These seminars will give you the skills you need to organize your home and office.

Two of Lori’s articles were recently published in the Dayton Daily News. If you are struggling with letting go of a deceased loved ones items read her June 16 article. To get your garage organized this summer, follow the tips in her June 30 article.

Keeping your files current...

When filing documents, always file the most current document to the front. Most of the time when we have to revisit something in a file, we are looking for the latest copy . Filing to the front keeps this information at your fingertips.

This method also makes purging your files easy while keeping your file drawer clutter free. For example if you want to keep the last 12 months of your credit card statements, you should always add the current one to the front of the file while purging the statement in the back of the file.

Enjoy more summer outings...

If you want to have more spur of the moment summer outings keep a picnic basket packed and ready to go. Stock it with paper products, serving utensils, spices, a table cloth and other supplies needed for your next picnic. A stocked picnic basket will make it easier to break away from your daily tasks while enjoying a cook-out at your neighborhood pool, a camping trip with family, tailgate party with friends or a quiet picnic for two.
