Huntsville Newsletter:

Greetings Huntsville residents.

Greetings Huntsville residents.  My name is Jake Songer.  I live in Huntsville at 265 S. 7300 E. Also, I grew up here in town so I have been a Huntsville resident here for most of my life.

I am a member of a large group of residents who are in favor of the proposed Huntsville Square project. Over the next several days I will be explaining (by email) the reasons why I think it will be great for our town.  I decided to break this up into several emails to keep reading time short.

REASON #1
Huntsville Town has no commercial space available.  If one of our fine residents had a great business idea that required a commercial space, they would not have the option of keeping their business here in town.  If the business had good potential to generate tax revenue, those taxes would not benefit our town.  Let's put our town and our residents in the position to support each other by providing some commercial space.

It may be interesting to note:  Some residents have expressed concern that future commercial buildings will sit empty.  To answer that concern: I would say, do not fear...every single square foot of commercial space in this town is being utilized by local business!
And secondly, a Jeff Hyde building is a rare and a beautiful thing to behold and (full or empty) would add beauty and character to our town center.

What a great place to live.  Please forward these emails to anyone wishing to be better informed on this issue.
Thank You

Stay Tune! 6 more great reasons to favor the Huntsville Square are coming soon.

Disclosures:
Jake Songer is not connected to the Huntsville Square project other than being a resident in the town.  Reasons to favor are in no particular order of significance.

That's All For Now - Have a nice week!  :)
