West Wales Grand Chapter meeting 29th June 2021

The meetings dealt with all the administrative matters of the Province, but the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent did take the opportunity to reappoint E Comp David Rayson as Deputy Grand Superintendent and E Comp Jeff Lewis as Second Provincial Grand Principal. For further details click here.

On Tuesday 13th July 2021 the Mackworth Club held it's Annual General Meeting via Zoom, at the meeting W.Bro. John Trott (pictured above with his partner Mary) was elected as the new Chairman. West Wales Mason congratulates John and his new committee and wish them every success in the forthcoming year.
In his address the Honorary President James Ross thanked the Mackworth Club for their tireless efforts over the past year. Driving forward a number of charity initiatives, as well as events such as the Mackworth Triathlon.

In the Craft meeting, The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro James Ross thanked the outgoing Deputy Provincial Grand Master for all his hard work for the Province, which he has served with distinction for nearly 20 years. He then proceeded to appoint and invest W Bro Ryland James as Deputy Provincial Grand Master and W Bro Michael Eckley as Assistant Provincial Grand Master. For more details click here.

Tenby Lodge support NHS Workers Day |
Freemasons of Tenby Lodge displayed a banner on the front of the Masonic Hall in South Parade, in support of the NHS Social Care & Frontline Workers Day on July 5th.
This was a unique and special day dedicated to the NHS, Social Care and those frontline workers who have saved so many lives during the pandemic and to remember those workers we sadly lost too. July 5th was also the date the NHS was formed in 1948. For the full story click here.

University Scheme 2021 challenge in 2021
|
The aim of the University Scheme 2021 Challenge in 2021 is for the cup (don't tell anyone, but it's actually a replica) to visit each of the University Scheme Lodges in England and Wales, covering a total of 2021 miles in the process. In addition to reconnecting, reenergising, and reinvigorating our Freemasonry, the challenge is also raising money for The Duke of Edinburgh Award Fund in memory of the recently departed Duke of Edinburgh, a lifelong freemason.
