Hello, Wooorld!!!
I write you with some very exciting news! If you've been following on my Facebook or Twitter, you know that I've been hinting at a new album for the last several weeks. Well here goes...
NEW ALBUM!
This summer I will be recording an absolutely brand new album! It's a project that i started writing almost immediately after releasing Rumors...and i just finished the final song yesterday! I've literally been sitting on most of these songs for a year and I can't sit any longer! I am especially excited with this batch of tunes and they cover a wide spectrum of topics...though my favorite tracks will most likely be the love songs :)
If I've talked with you over the last few months, you know the process of finding a producer was the hard part for me...BUT I'm happy to say that I will be working with Saul Simon-MacWilliams, a Brooklyn-based producer who also happens to be the keyboard player for Ingrid Michaelson :) If I tell you how our paths crossed you will laugh :)
KICKSTARTER! - be a part of te album-making process!
Alas, the time has come for me to beseech thee :) Are you ready?
This album is begging to be materialized...but severely lacking the funding to get it off the ground. I've done the the math, and this album will take roughly $10,000 to happen - everything from producer/studio time to mixing, mastering, paying musicians who play on the album, and duplication...etc. There are many other things, expected and unexpected, that will come up (as they always do); but that's the rundown. Do YOU want to help!?!? I've launched a Kickstarter Campaign with a video explaining things a bit better...and a list of absolutely excellent rewards (to your left) if you are willing and able to donate...or just curious about Kickstarter, please watch!
