Budget 2025: Media Briefing (Thursday 13 June)
WHAT: Members of the media are invited to attend a special briefing by The Wheel, Ireland's National Association of Charities, on the enormous challenges for Ireland’s 35,000 charities, community organisations and social enterprises, and the people they serve.
The Wheel will be launching a detailed set of proposals to address the following issues in Budget 2025:
- lifting people out of poverty
- tackling social isolation
- building inclusive communities
- promoting civil society
- supporting the sector to deliver
- promoting healthy communities
- accommodating communities
- creating sustainable communities
- and more.
A media photocall will take place at 11.30 am outside the Leinster House (Kildare Street). Representatives from several leading charities will take part in the photocall.
