Members with more than three absences should check with Gerald about eligibility to sing in the concert.

Reformation 500th Anniversary Concert
Sunday, October 29, 4PM
St. Luke Lutheran Church, 109 Oak Avenue, Ithaca
 
In commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, there will be a concert of music by Bach and Mendelssohn with the Cayuga Vocal Ensemble, Onondaga Civic Symphony Orchestra, Reformation Festival Choir, and soloists. Soloists include Rebecca Leistikow, Jennifer Kay, Carl Johengen, and Steven Stull. Bach's cantata based on "A Mighty Fortress is Our God" is joined by two sections of the b minor mass.  The orchestra will also offer Mendelssohn's Fifth Symphony, which incorporates the "A Mighty Fortress" theme.
