Whatever Happened to April...and Now It's May!
 
First I want to thank all of my new subscribers. Welcome to the madness known as my newsletter. Thank you for giving me a chance and I hope you enjoy my work. If you're already my reader, then thank you, too. Without you, I wouldn't want to write. You all rock. 
 
Is it already almost July? I guess so. Where does the time go? I'm not sure. What I can tell you is that it's been a whirlwind of action here at the Wendi Zwaduk/Megan Slayer camp. I've been writing up a storm and struggling with deadlines, but I'm making it. I've also had a few releases!! I'm excited to talk about them. First...a little about the #supersecret #superawesome project. Were you on facebook? Maybe you saw Madison Sevier and me talking about some big project...well, now I can reveal what it is!!
Madison Sevier and I delved into Madison's Rosie Peaks world and wrote a very special book for RAGT. What? Faeries After Dark!! Here's the cover art, made by yours truly!

RAGT was fun. If you were there and a return attendee, then you should've been given a button stating you were back at RAGT. Look for those next year, too. If you were a first timer, then you should've been given a special bag full of goodies. The authors went all-out with their donations.
This year was good because not only did I sell out of the print books I had on hand, but I was pleasantly surprised to see my books in the pop-up store on site and they sold out, too. As the cherry on top, the books Madison and I brought for the #supersecret #superawesome project, Faeries After Dark, also sold out. I did buy quite a few books to bring home and read, but hey, this was a win.
If you want print copies of my books, let me know. I'm getting more in. Only $5 for most titles plus $3 for shipping. :-)

I wrote for an upcoming MF BDSM sensory play anthology for Totally Bound. Look for it later this summer. I'm excited about my story, Just You & Me. It's scorching hot!

I'm currently writing a MM story featuring a librarian and an author. It's hot, sweet and full length. I love this story and hope you will, too. Oh and there will be a second story in this world, so stay tuned!

Speaking of MM, in celebration of Pride Month, I'm writing a MM short story featuring two hot guys who meet at the dog park. What kind of hijinks can happen when the dogs are out to play? Plenty!!

I'm going to work on the next Sanctuary book. Look for the first BEYOND SANCTUARY story later this year.

She’d have to face the guy some time. She whipped around and collided with a solid wall of male muscle. He smelled like leather and stood at least eight inches taller than her. She splayed her hands on his chest to steady herself, then backed up. “Sorry.”
 
“I scared you?”
 
She met his gaze. Holy fuck. He had blue eyes. “Jinx?”
 
“That’s my brother.” He smiled. “Are you okay? You look lost and a little confused.”
 
A little? “You’re fucking serious? You’re not Jinx?” She swept her gaze over him. Christ. She’d cream her shorts at this rate. He had muscle in all the right places, a chiseled jaw, reddish blond hair and blue eyes. When he smiled, his dimple showed. He smelled good and when he spoke, shivers ran the length of her spine. And here she was with a wet tank top and hard nipples.
 
She was so fucked.
 
“I’m serious.” He laughed and offered his hand. “Jinx—er—my brother, Jeremy, tends to be here. He paints. Why are you looking for him? It’s too late for him to paint tonight.”
 
“Oh. Right.” God. She sounded stupid. “I’ll stop talking now.”
 
“You don’t have to.” He slipped her hand into his and tugged her to the closest bench. “Have a seat, catch your breath and let’s talk. You look flustered. You can’t possibly be a hitwoman or out to find him because of a secret baby.”
 
“Why not?” Being a hitwoman wasn’t on her radar, but anything was possible.
 
“Despite your foul mouth, you’re too sweet.” He nodded to the bench. “Sit. Tell me your name and what’s going on.”
 
She plopped onto the bench and willed her chest to cooperate. She pressed her knees together. Christ, the heat in her body would overwhelm her sooner than later. She wanted to touch him again and feel that sizzle. “My name is Cory…Cordelia.” She shook hands with him. Damn. Firm grip. What would it feel like to have those hands around her waist during sex? Probably heaven… Shit. She had to focus. “I’m actually trying to find Jinx or Jeremy, as you called him, for a friend of mine. A mutual friend told me to get them in contact and put in a good word.”
 
 “Is either friend a guy?”
 
“Yeah. One of them is.” She slid her gaze to him. “Why? Didn’t you know he’s gay?”
 
“I knew.”
“Before we go any farther, what’s your name?” Call her nosy, but she wanted to address him properly when she asked him to bed later.
 
“Liam. It’s short for William. William Darling.” He shook her hand again. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Cordelia.”
